So, it's a ground-up build. At least you shouldn't need Ospho.

Merry XMas!

When you get to the last bag, you'll need to decide what oil to put in it.

That's when you'll need us.

Merry Christmas!

If you're building them from the ground up, don't forget the anti-corrosion sealant

The lego scoot is realistic in more ways than I'd thought:

After finishing the assembly of the engine and the right side cowl, there were a few leftover pieces!

Excellent Job!

It's like the free extra on a real Vespa, there are always extra screws under the running board…

Same here. Also had some parts left over.
There are something like 1127 parts to this thing!

I received one of these for Christmas, um, two years ago.

Maybe it is time to put it together.

Prepare to consume a lot of interesting time and perhaps liquid refreshment in the endeavor. The instructions are pretty good (mostly pictures, very little text).

We worked on ours about an hour each evening, and it took quite a few evenings.

P.S. It's well worth it!

My last build (The Tantive V from Starwars) I used the lego app on my iPad. It made things quite easy.

How did the app help? I have a couple of Lego sets to build, and that may help me.

RRider,

I am working on a Vespa Plastic Model (from Italy). I just finished painting it red so it will match mine. I will post the completed Vespa when completed.

That looks really impressive, Bob!

Nice idea, it's a long time I've even seen proper plastic models on sale.
