I really don't like using the mirror mounts as they take away from the clean lines. I've seen a couple alternatives on Reddit (from PYR Moto Garage in the Philippines) and YouTube (using a simple rubber expander on a bolt and a RAM ball offset) and was wondering if anyone has done similar.
I'm reaching out to PYR Moto Garage to see if their Primavera mount will also fit my GTS and if they'll ship internationally. If that doesn't work out, does any know what size bolt fits the threads in the fly screen mount, and what diameter the tube is?

I found the mounts I was looking for. As I said, I did not want to mount anything on the mirror stem, as it looks inelegant at the minimum. These are from PYR Moto Garage, who have quite a nice scooter mod page on FB. They ran about $74 each plus shipping cost of $17 for the pair. Arrived from Manila in about 4 days. Very high quality chrome finish.
Straight is for GTS, curved is for Primavera/Sprint
