Modern Vespa

So . . . . .
I acquired a hugely discounted Justin Bieber 125 Sprint, and decided to do a Yacht Club make over.
Back in 2018, Vespa done a limited edition Primavera model, but all the parts are compatible with the Sprint.
Ordered the Yacht Club Seat, rubbers, badges and decals from SIP. I decided against the wheels, as the Yacht Club wheels have a polished edge, and as I dislike chrome affect plastic, the polished edges wouldn't match. Instead I got my original Sprint wheels powder coated, then got the horn cover sprayed to match. Fitted SIP shorty mirrors.
I also got the seat grab rail and exhaust guard powder coated Black.
I replaced the legshield trim and grips for standard Black ones, and had the fork link and grab rail covers sprayed black.
I upgraded the shocks for Bitubo's, and powder coated the Red front spring Blue, and fitted a Primavera Mudguard crest, and a set of Sprint Sport anthracite badges (. . . . with a Blue 'S'😁 )
I'm very pleased with the finish, quite subtle, not too busy.
I'm just waiting on some better UK weather so I can get out and enjoy it.

Faze 2 . . .
As much as I dislike chrome, the Black trim on my Sprint just didn't suit the Scooter. I ordered a chrome trim kit, new grab rail, and a lovely set of Yacht Club wheels. I think it looks far nicer now.

Yeah, that Bieber edition, what were they thinking? Sweet that you got a deal on a new scoot though.

The worst of it was when I received my Scooter documents, and it's actually registered as a Justin Bieber 125!!!

Looks great! I just purchased a Primavera in Grigio Delicato (matte grey, lol) and I was thinking about doing a grey/blue version of the yacht club to give it some visual interest.

That'll look nice. SIP have the full body kit in stock.
My next project is a matching helmet . . . .

So, helmet. Found a nice open face helmet with a chrome trim. Fitted a peak and a Legshield badge, and my good friend who owns a vinyl sign company cut and fitted a matching band. I'm pleased with the finish.
