no offense mate but maybe using a single thread instead of starting a new one each day would be a good idea.

Not meaning to start a thread. Just sharing scooter photos.

I'm thinking what SB was talking about was for you to have a single thread (or perhaps just a few threads, categorized by theme maybe). Then you post each of your new photos or sets as a reply to your thread with that theme.

Makes your old photos visible again, when you post new ones.

I know none of these repellents are 'waterproof' - but I'd like to find one that works better than the few I've tried over the years.
It looks like my first 2025 ride to Yellow Springs for coffee this Fri morning will be in the rain.
Chilly is no problem. Rain is no problem.
But keeping battery=warming leather gloves safe from the rain is always a concern for me.
So far , so good - have gotten my heated glove soaked thru a few times with no apparent damage.
Still ....hoping for better 'repelling' this time from the trusted name of Scotchgard.

OK for leather, it says.

I've tried rain-proof over mitts - but they are too awkward for use with my freq over-the-road photo taking.

Available for free.
You just have to request a copy in exchange for a photo of your ride.

Friggin' humid this morning so - eschewed the "large w/cream" and asked Dino for "something cold, blended, chocolate with 3 shots?" This was amazing!

Pre-dawn ride for coffee in Y.S.
Moist.
In the dark and the blowing heavy rain - and the reflected glare of cars, streetlights and signage - I missed my turning when exiting the city. Had to make a U-ie.

Easy riding once out on the open rural roads! (except for a suicidal possum)

Someday, something is going to get wet on one of my aging scooters (13 & 8 yrs) and I'll be trying out my recovery coverage!

Great pre-dawn rain shots!
It (the inclement weather) gives everything a glistening clarity.
And one has to watch out for those suicidal possums! Out here in Oregon, we have to watch out for deer everywhere, theoretically closer to sunrise and sundown, but in reality, they can pop out anywhere at any time.
