Well, I started the bike as usual 2 days ago, twist the throttle and a continuous beep with continuous red wheel lamp is all I've got. Won't rev past 2k. Crying or Very sad emoticon

Bike starts as it should and everything else works as intended.
Hitting the unlock button twice gives me the long beep with lamp again...
Seat is ok, so is the sensors on the wheels and the unlock button.
I have to turn the bike off to silence the beep and lamp but when restarting the same thing happens, the beep restarts when twisting the throttle or double tapping the tilt switch...

Haven't found much on a continuous beep on Google, and God knows I searched...
Any ideas what to check next? It's a 2008 400 btw.

Thanks in advance mates!

Have you checked the reservoir level?

Also check the pressure switch isn't leaking

I can't see any leaks. And yes, the reservoir is filled, the one under the windscreen I assume you mean.

Edit: I'll try this tomorrow:

At the end of the video you post, the person says that he is purging the system but the problem returns, so is only a temporal solution.

Is possible that the problems is with the limit switch or that for some reason the initial graduation degrees need to be readjusted (there is a post about that here in the forum, with a screw, maybe that will work for you https://modernvespa.com/forum/topic173022)

Thank you dearly, I'll try that before anything else!

I tryid the screw under there as suggested, no luck. It won't budge and I don't want to stripe it...
I'll try the 12v to the connector tomorrow since I couldn't manage to get the bike to work today.

Thank you!

Hallo again, I tried the 12v directly to the motor, won't budge at any direction... Short touches on the connector as shown above in the video clip directly from 12v doesn't do anything...
I guess the motor is dead...

If you apply 12v to the motor in both directions and nothing happens, can be the motor bad or the mechanism is stuck. I think that one way to check before disassembling more, is to put an ammeter between the 12v source and the motor and see if there is any attempt to consume. If there is, it is because the motor is trying to move and something is preventing it, if not, the motor is dead.

I'll do that today, if I can get the bike to the workshop. I'll also check the sensor on the arm, didn't find it yesterday in the cold and through the tupperware but now I know where its located...

As a follow up I want to say that i fixed it earlier today. Writing my 3 hours experience here, nothing worse than those who ask for help here and never follow up on the solution...
Also want to ad that I'm a jack of trades but electricity is NOTHING I'm good at...

I firstly put a charger on the 12.8v battery, in case of...
Checked the micro switch on the arm, worked.
Retried 12v to the tilt motor, still wouldn't budge.
Checked the voltage on the wires to the tilt motor while I simultaneously unlocked it. It shortly showed 1.74v and then 13.1v (probably my batterys strength). That told me that the bike did everything right...

Came to the conclusion that the motor on the tilt lock system really must be burned... The two wires to the motor showed 0 ohm, (continuous beep.)

Thought of the screw under there again, the one I was afraid to strip... Took a screwdriver and grinded it so it fitted perfectly on it. Then I relised the cable on the tilt motor as much as possible, about 15mm with a 13mm key for stress relief on the unit, screw... Or at least that was my thought, I don't really know if that helped but now I could turn the screw clockwise with the grinded screwdriver. I turned the key on the bike, and double tap worked!
The red wheel lamp was now blinking but I turned the screw back to exactly where it was and that error disappeared immediately.

Been driving the bike 3 times today, a couple of hours, using it as before, never putting my feet down and it still works. I'll update here if something goes pearshaped in the near future.

I'd like to thank you all and especially Dariusz, without you I wouldn't had made it. 👍🤗💪🤗

Fantastic news! I'm very glad you were able to solve it, but the thanks needs go to an old post from Israel that not only worked for you, but also for a friend here in my country with a Yourban, who if it weren't for that information I think the Yourban would be resting in a dumpster after being burned in a ceremonial act ha ha ha ROFL emoticon

Unplug the sensor and give it a go, if no beeping then it's the sensor which needs to be replaced
