Hi guys,

I order a new crankshaft part number 8411965002 CAT 2 (as per the catalogue) and comparing it with the old one that snapped it actually doesnt have a shoulder so the timing chain sprocket/pinion cannot go all the way and sit flush.
I measured the internal diameter of the chain sprocket/pinion and its 17mm and searching online for the part number I am unable to tell what the diameter is of a new one.
The shoulder on the new cranshaft is about 19.5mm so I guess I need chain sprocket/pinion with that diameter.
Part number 82782R
Another issue is that on the other side the old one had a woodruff key slot but the new one doesnt...
Please help or if you have data/catalogues let me know what is correct.
Help! Crying or Very sad emoticon
woodruff key slot doesn't exist on the new one

Return it, looks like they didn't finish machining it. I can also see that the oil passage isn't drilled through. Q.C. was on vacation…

Thank you!
I was able to get the appropriate timing chain gear 82782R (19.5mm) for it and I removed the woodruff key from the previous crankshaft and fitted it on the new one, it looks like they don't come with it from Piaggio.

I thought you said the new one didn't have a machined slot for a Woodruff key? Did you get a replacement crankshaft?

The empty slot was there except wasnt on the photo so after checking it again and comparing it with the old and having a look online I was able to remove it from the old one and put it in the slot on the new one.
