Probably not torqued to spec, pump cog was spinning like crazy on the pulley plate, friction did the rest...

The amount of oil that leaked out was too little for any detection by the oil level sensor, there was still enough left in the engine and oil filter, about 1200 cc ..🤔 a bit of Luck.

XRISTOS,thank you, you are absolutely right about the wear on the gear of the oil pump, and scary enough it is driven by friction/torque and not by the splines on the crankshaft, a risky design,in my humble opinion.
I've ordered a new oil pump gear and will change it asap.
