Your BV looks in perfect condition. Nice color too.

Thanks, 4900 miles. Not a scratch on it. It's been cold and wet here, so haven't had a chance to ride it much. It's supposed to be in the mid 50s and no rain today. Might bundle up and go for a scoot today.

It'll be interesting to see what machine in your garage gets the most use, now that you have the scooter.

Welcome to MV. I rode a BV350 for 5 years. It was a great scooter for longer distance and multiple day trips. I took it all over the NW US. It was powerful, reliable, and a real packhorse. I loved to ride it on rural highways and country roads. Enjoy!

This is my 2nd scooter. The first was a Genuine Rattler 200 (169cc) - which was a blast, but I worried about long term reliability. The BV350 is in a whole new league! Much bigger/heavier/faster, and obviously more refined. I suspect it'll get a lot of use!

What are you riding now?

I always wanted my own chain hoist but I never had anything heavy enough to need one to lift.

Sweet! I love the light/metallic green, complete with matching top case! Very Nice!

It's just a cheapo manual Harbor Freight hoist. In case you're wondering, it's hanging from a 4x6 that is tied into 4 roof trusses. I wouldn't trust it for more than a few hundred lbs.

Sweet looking Beverly 350 you have there! Glad you're aboard. There is a lot of servicing information on MV if you prefer to service your scoot. From the looks of your garage, I'd say that you are. From which part of Northern California are you? Big Welcome.

I have gone through quite a few scooters and motorcycles in my day. Always looking for a new experience. I have owned an MP3, a BV350, a GTS w/sidecar, a Ural, plus a handful of other Vespas. I love to ride back roads and 2-lane rural highways. My current ride for that kind of thing is a 300 GTS. And FWIW, I have owned a couple of Genuine Buddy's for around town riding which have proved durable and reliable.

I'll do some of the maintenance myself. I'm no master mechanic, I've been working on (and off) that RD400 for years... BTW, I'm in Solano county - Benicia.

Some day I'll get a Vespa. I hear the Buddy's are pretty bullet proof. Unfortunately my Rattler had issues...
