On the other hand, hasn't Vespa become a generic name yet? I have heard many people call their POS Chinese scoot a Vespa?
And doesn't most scooter manufacturers make one that resembles a Vespa? Sounds like bullshit to me.

I don't think anyone made a claim -- I think Amazon Merch is just being pro-active in policing what they think could be claimed.

I am still considering my next move. I've got an idea in mind for an NSM-specific design that shouldn't infringe on anything. Except maybe good taste.

For what it's worth, (and if it's possible) the current logo with just 'MV' would have be buying another tee-shirt.
