Spanish. T5 chassis with PX 200 engine. vespa-t5.org wrote: Manufactured by the Spanish licensee Motovespa , frame of the Vespa T5 with PX 200 Lusso engine, 10 HP (until around autumn 1988) or 12 HP (later models). The design/decor shown here is often not immediately distinguishable from the Motovespa T5 .
Chassis number without Elestart from 118C*00011/ engine 118M*00011, with Elestart 119C*00011/ engine 119M*00011, less frequently also chassis number VSX2Tlike PX 200 GS (see above, example ). Until early/mid 1989 with Motoplat fan wheel and carburettor pan of the PX-Alt (flat), then Piaggio/Ducati fan wheel and Lusso carburettor pan (high). Alternator and CDI from Saprisa (Spain) or Ducati Energia (Italy).
Rumor has it that the model was created to recycle T5 frames that were difficult to sell (low sales figures for the T5) or that it was given to Motovespa. Some were without a kickstarter ( picture: hole closed ). Manufactured with and without separate lubrication, with Elestart always with separate lubrication. This model also often has a light switch that lacks the on/off rocker, rear view mirror from Vicma. Different seat and different seat lock than the Italian T5 (clip and catch hook instead of pin), "Motovespa" lettering on the side and "TX" on the back of the seat. Almost always with the lock typical for Spain from the fuel tap to the left handlebar end.

What more info would you like?
The user manual etc. are for sale on line here in Spain:
https://es.wallapop.com/app/search?filters_source=search_box&keywords=Vespa%20TX%20manual&latitude=37.0282473&longitude=-4.3383882
They are almost common nsm Vespa here. Always a dozen or so for sale on line. If you wait a month an as new low mileage will appear.
Quite striking if all but elegant styling which is more than made up for by the bullet proof engine in the strong roomy frame.
Although I am a fan of keeping it simple, the autolube/elestart ís ideal for daily use.
