Hello

I have a 2023 Vespa GTS 150 Super. Im really struggling with the visability of the stock mirrors and wonder if I would be better getting the round shape ones? Any advice? (P.S Im a learner). Thanks Kathy

You can buy slightly longer kidney shaped mirrors for a primavera. You will need mirror adapters to convert the thread. They will give you more rear vision. I did the same as I couldn't see behind.

This is exactly what I did, and it made a big difference. The standard mirrors must be made for someone with very narrow shoulders.

I had to hunt online for the adaptors, and they only came in twos, so I had to order two left-to-right adaptors and then two right-to-left. Unfortunately, the rubbers don't cover them properly and water can get in, so the whole adaptor needs to be well greased.

You're not the only one to have had issues with short mirrors on Vespas.

The mirrors on my 2019 where also too short. I swapped them for ones that are the same length as the older GTS (but actually came from a primavera).

But these are different screw threads to your 2023 so not much help.

Oh bugger! Thankyou for the info.

I will have to investigate further.

Are the thread adaptors.

And these were the mirrors.

They are kind of plastic fantastic but I bought them more for practicality. For a show and shine I would put the originals back on.

Used on a MY23 GTS

I also changed my mirrors to the old style round GTS mirrors, not the Primavera ones and, yes, I needed adaptors. I also needed to use Loctite to glue the left one in, because when you adapt from right hand thread to left hand thread you can't fasten them properly.

Yes the rubber does no longer cover the threads, but I found a solution for that. I found something black plastic covers for acorn nuts in a hardware store, drilled a hole in them and sat them on top of the rubber. I don't have a picture, but this looks very good.
