The VMC Ranger thread has got me thinking of a Spring time project. I have an engine from a 2003 registered PX200 which has between 2 and 20km on the clock. The speedo is heat damaged, so I cannot read the exact mileage, but the scooter was never ridden, other than to get it's annual test (MOT) on a couple of occasions.

Common sense tells me to change both crank oil seals as a matter of course, due to age, but what about the [inner] driveshaft/rear hub seal? I'd like to avoid pulling the driveshaft out. Who thinks it will be absolutely fine?

Absolutely fine. I'd run it as it is without any work. Will be really good to see what this 213 kit is like as a straight bolt-on/upjet.

I have found a 1972 Primavera with only 900 km since new. Haven't opened the engine to change anything. There is no leak whatsoever.

You'll be fine.
