When the monocoque body of a vespa gets a bad ding repairs start to get very pricey. Bouncing off a trailor and dragging my "07" 200 GT about 1/8 mile turned my scoot into scrap metal. I have the good salvageable engine that needs a new home. Assuming that I can find another good "07" body/frame (with unuseavble engine) is it worth the time/effort to make the transplant?

Welcome to MV and congratulations on your first post, even if the occasion is very annoying!

What happened and why? Of course we want to see pictures, even if it makes our hearts bleed...
Selling the engine separately or building it into a donor body yourself is technically possible.

Whether it justifies the effort depends on what you can do yourself...
