This is my first post but I have lurked for about 4yrs. This site has been so helpful to me. I didn't think I had much to add to the topics but now I am a little more versed and educated on Modern Vespas.
Let's get down to business. VCA has given me this wonderful insignia for a club in my area. I have yet to get any members. I would love to see some people join this riding season and do a few meet ups and rides.
There is already an established scooter group out here but it's not VCA chapter. There is maybe 2 Vespas or Piaggio's that ride with them. I have rode with them and it was a blast. I am looking for more.
There is an annual meet up at a local Italian market called Cantoros in Plymouth, MI. Always a great time and a great show of Vespa scooters.
I am able to have meet ups at the Vespa dealer in Taylor, Michigan. I hope to see a good response from reaching out.
This VCA chapter would be the Downriver Area in Southeast Michigan. Lincoln Park, Allen Park, Riverview, Trenton, Gibraltar, Grosse Ille, Taylor, Brownstown. You get the jest of it. Although any that wish to join may.
