Hi all,
Just wanted to introduce myself and show my 2018 Vespa GTS 300 Super. Absolutely in love with the bike, bought it in May 2023 with 1200 miles.

I replaced the engine and transmission oils, spark plug, air/cvt/oil filters, as well as the brake fluid. Just for a piece of mind. The bike is currently at over 4200k miles. I already bought all the parts for the 6k miles service

Also recently I fitted the OEM Vespa 36 litre top box with a matching back rest.

Welcome to the forum!

You didn't mention replacing the belt but since that is also probably original, you should do that based on age

It's a safe bet the tires are original but check the date code. Typically tires are replaced if 5yrs or older.

I like the Michelin City Grip 2

I was planning to replace the belt at 6k miles.
The tyres should already be swapped as they are still the original ones (2018). It's got the Michelin City Grip, the thread is still okay but they are pretty old.
I will get the City Grip 2 of course

Welcome to MV!

+1 on the belt..you can push it a bit, but at some point age takes precedence over mileage...and shredded belts are a mess!

That's a nice looking scoot!

I'll echo the other recommendations for changing that belt sooner rather than later. I had the exact same issue several years ago with an older belt with low miles that failed while in traffic.

I wound up stuck on the side of a very busy road for several hours in the rain. And a broken belt makes a huge and difficult mess to clean up. Save yourself the hassles of a breakdown and difficult maintenance.

Enjoy that scoot!
