Some forum members suggested that the CDI might be at fault, so I bought a used CDI and key set along with a matching antenna from another scooter. After swapping all the parts, the scooter ran for less than 10 miles before dying again, showing the same red warning code. I then reverted to the original parts and replaced the antenna with a new one. The scooter started right away, and I was able to idle it for over an hour without issue. However, during a short test ride, the new antenna burned out after only 100 feet.
I tested the voltage at idle and high RPM, and it's under 14V, so I believe the regulator is functioning correctly. The turn signals and kill switch are operational, but I'm still unsure what's causing the repeated antenna failures.
What's going on
Please advise what else I can do
I don't have a Vespa dealer near me , but close by bike repair they tested and diagnosed with Antenna code also warning light has the one single flash according to manual is wiring with antenna
