Modern Vespa

I found a 2010 MP3 500 with about 1800 miles. Since it's been outside on a coastal town. It shows some rust. Person is asking for $2800. Thoughts?

Pass, unless seller is willing to face reality by dropping the price below 2K.

And check it head to toe where rust may be hiding

Check out Facebook marketplace. Much nicer low mileage examples for not much less money if you're around se USA.

Sorry…see you're in the pacific NW, but still…I'd be hard NO on this bike. Way too many nice examples of 2016 and newer in the 4-5k range.

2008 barn find with less than 300 miles? Should I walk away? Looks clean, after reading a few posts, I see that something like this could be a rabbit hole.

the 500 in first pic is also 2008 model maybe regged at 2010 but Piaggio did make that type from 2006 to 2008 and started again in 2013 with a LT version

Well I ended up finding a 500cc in Medford, OR. The seller said he was looking for the title. I asked him if he would notify me, if it did not show up. A week later I found a way there and he said I will see you here. Showed up and he still had not found it. Basically stranded there. So I booked a flight back home.

There's a rash of sellers not having titles. Is it not appropiate to have it before putting up for sale or at least doing a DMV meetup, to switch names over and applying for lost title?

Currently mines living beneath its raggedy cover in the RV shed. I've been intending to sell it but I keep procrastinating so nothing's happening. Last time I looked it started up and burbled along without too much fuss so it's probably ok.
