The 2025 Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide RR is claimed to be THE most powerful Harley ever offered, with something like 153 hp and 150 ft lbs of torque, and only weighs about 785 pounds.

But you'd better get your deposit in there fast, because at only $110,000 per, these babies are gonna fly off the showroom floors.

I must say, that 2025, $8000, Royal Enfield Classic 650 is looking better and better.

Just LOOK at how fast it is, what with the blurry road and background...

well they are made to ride in a straight line.

since most of my riding is not straight line riding this is never going to be any consideration on my part.

At the rate HD is 'improving' the performance of their top-of-the-line, and by far, their ridiculously most expensive models....another ten years of tweaking those Big Man Mo-Sickles, they might actually catch up to my Triumph Rocket 3's 'dick-swinging' performance....but of course, at over FOUR and a half times the asking price.

I could probably supercharge my Triumph triple for $15,000 or so.....IF I was crazier than I already am.

131 units seems to be an odd number for a limited edition, but whatever.

It's a lot of money, but I bet they will sell them all - they have a very large following with deep pockets.

Right.
I was out over the weekend on my '14 Kawasaki Concours.. 4 cyl, 1400cc.. 150+ bhp. Side bags, full body.. top case.
An H-D guy was stopped roadside.. chaps, vest, tattoos, full, regalia.
It just died..Electric issue..likely alternator.. so EFI doesn't fire.
I offered him a ride on back to his place… not very far.. so he could get his trailer.
Before he got on.. "what is this thing? It says 1400? 1400cc? Mine's Screamin Eagle kit.. a 125. It eats Yamaha R1 for lunch"
Cool story.. hop on.
Shortly.. he taps my shoulder.. "can you take this thing up to 8-9k?. It redlines.. 12, i think.
I shrugged.."Sure. Hold on"
From a stop, I short shifted to second, about 3k… then pulled to 7k.. then hit 3rd and let off.
Next stop…"what the hell!? What happens if you go to 10k?" he asked, excitedly.
"Jail. Do still think you were actually walking on Yamaha R1? Or maybe they just let you go?"
Mine was $11k, new shipped from DC to Monterey.
Still gives me wood. At some point, I'm coming to visit a friend in Rapid City.

I must say, 185 hp is a lot for a Kaw 1400 Concourse, ours was 'only' 155 hp (it was a 2009). Did they increase the power later on? My 2007 ZX14 was 190 hp.

I doubt if his HD can "eat an R1 for lunch", the R1 is 200 hp or close to it, and weighs about as much as a family-sized bag of Lay's potato chips.

You're right. I'll edit the post.

I definitely do.

I remember when the revs on our Concours were spun up, it reminded me of it's Kawasaki sportbike heritage every time, and the engine's ZX14 roots were just below the surface.
