I never need to check my oil level. I'm pretty mechanically minded and I keep a vague idea in my head of what I'm pretty sure that maybe the oil is in my many vehicles.
Last week I'm selling my car. One of the prospective buyers was diligent enough to waste some time checking the oil. Yeah, nah, I changed that recently, its all good.
Nothing on the dipstick. Facepalm emoticon

my HPE drinks so much oil that with the regular top up it dilutes the old oil with fresh oil meaning I never have to change it

Since I have the BV 300 I did regularly check the oil level, to learn it hardly consumes any oil.
So I stopped checking the oil level knowing there is absolutely no need to top up oil in between 2 services 5000km apart.
