Modern Vespa

Hi Everyone:
I have a 23' Vespa GTS 300. I put my bike away for storage so December 1st till yesterrday March 8th. I started my scooter up and get keyfob is out of range error then I try the same thing with the master fob and same thing. I thought the battery was low and put it on the battery charger till it reads full and I get an error message with software but to quick to get a picture and the then the alarm keep going off. Anyone experience this?

Is the KeyFob battery full? KeyFob is activated?

The Masterkey is purely passive and only works on the radio symbol on the left maintenance flap, i.e. the message "Key out of range" is the logical consequence (as there is no active KeyFob within range).

Alarm?

After reconnecting the vehicle battery, the Keyless GTS briefly shows the software version of the vehicle on the display as standard. No warning/alarm, just a feature.

Iknow its been asked above but have you activated your key fob as it tells you to do in the manual?. If I leave my 2024 gts for more than 8/10 day without use I have to do this.

Its really quick just pressing the two buttons in a defined sequence.

That would be new to me that this should be an intentional behavior Simultaneously

The two functions of the Remote Control are:

Bike Finder
Seat Opener

To re-activate these two functions after 9 days you have to press one of the two buttons significant longer than normal.

This statement does NOT refer to the keyless function. This can be activated or deactivated as described by you. When deactivated (or if the battery is empty), the key fob only works passively on the radio symbol on the left-hand maintenance flap.
The keyless function remains active even after 9 days, please try it out...
