Hi,

I have a Beverly 250ie 2008, sometimes is fine but most of time when i accleate it somehow gets like clooged and dont take gas i have to try accleatin 2-3 times at full then it takes, but hapens again.

When this happens even if i idle, scooter dies. Then turns on well but i noticed when this happens i try to move back and hard brake it dies. In most cases it hapens when scooter is heated.

If i want to stabilize somehow not completely, i should drive at high rews.

I checked Air filter, fuel filter, fuel pump is getting good pressure. I did a oil service. Also spark plug is ok, not even blacked (like new)

-Now i tested again after it cooled down, i tried for 5 mins to go backward and full brake to make it turn off but it doesen't turn off it "keeps iddling"

Can you suggest me fix for this.

Do a transmission service. If you still have problems after that I would suggest a valve adjustment.

I removed line to injection and tried turning ignition on it pushed good amount of fuel. Anyway maybe this is not 100% sure but it seems ok.

Do you have any throughts on this ?

The symptoms sound to me like a fuel pump, though I'm not sure and it could be something else. I wondered if the fuel pump could be checked when it was hot, when the stalling happens.

I will try to check it, my throughts are for those 3 now: Fuel Pump , Valve Adjusting , Evap System .

Maybe : Injection system

Do you have any idea how i can check those myself, before sending to service as it needs to wait for some days to get service checked.

24miles now. I will try to lookup for video. Youre the 10th person u telling for valves. Idk if this matters for valves but when i checked spark plug, is like new spark plug, it doesen't consume oil also. When this struggle happens i hear rarely exahust pop sound

Do you mean the scooter did only 24 miles in total?
It is from 2008, so in 17 years only 24 miles in total?

If that is the case you can rule out the valves.

You say it sometimes runs fine for some time and then gets struggling.
You can also rule out the transmission.

I think it is the fuel.
For how long is the fuel in the tank?

You don't bother to mention the miles on your bike. Might be relevant information. Have you checked with the dealer for a fuel pump recall? My 2009 was covered. Has the outside temperature been fairly consistent through all this?

Mistakely forgot to put K after 24. Moto has 24k miles.

Fuel is just put in is fresh.

I tried again today it happens when engine is hot. After i let it cold it works well

I talked with dealer, first guess from him is Fuel pump. Engine has 24k miles now.
Temp outside was consistent

These use the same 30mm fuel pump that are in a lot of Yamahas. A tell tale sign is just as you describe. Problems when hot, works once cools off. That is until it quits working entirely. See if there is any chance your bike is under recall. Has to be done through a certified Vespa dealer. Good news, is you can access your fuel pump assembly in 15 minutes. You can buy a good quality aftermarket pump for under $20. It takes a little finagling to get the new pump into your old housing, but it is doable. At 24k, you should be on your 2nd valve adjustment. Same fuel pump as in this Yamaha Tmax. Darn near 5 hours to replace it in this bike.

Ah, the old "TMAX Fever". Got that merit badge. Did it on a Morph too. Picked up a spare pump assembly for my Maj in case it ever decided to get fussy.

Biggest trick seems to be popping the plastic bits apart while hoping they're not so embrittled that they shatter.

Totally worth swapping the pump itself versus buying a new assembly.

UPDATE:
I was today at vespa dealer and after checking it said that issue is comming from wire contact or loosen connectors. He put a zip tie into injector connector and suddenly it works without problems.
Im not sure if this will be fix but he told me to drive like this for some time, if it happens then he will do a complete wiring check.

Im not sure to be happy or not but ….

I would be happy, it looks like the culprit has been found.
And valuable advice from the mechanic to drive it with the fix for some time until you are sure everything works fine.
Then you can discuss and decide how to repair for good.
