Modern Vespa

Having had bikes and scooters for over 45 years I can safely say that while it is a good thing while it runs well; unfortunately it breaks down once a month to the tune of about £500 repair costs.
Head bearing s, tyres, oil filter and change, rear tyre ,steering lock (twice), hand brake, thermostat, seat locks, fuse box etc all for 28 k km. I was overjoyed when it got nicked!
That's y they are all offered for sale as projects.

Ta jmc but I stand by my opinion that mp3 500 is the most unreliable bike I have ever encountered. I had a 37 year old 450 after a 25 year old triumph 900 with no problem except they got nicked. I had a px125 and that was always fkd. I passed my test on lambretta li 150 in 1978 it ran perfectly despite its age- 1962
