I'm not sure how long it's been available, not long I think. Seems like a good thing, with lower weight on the crank. I do realise that SIP makes this style of clutch as well, pretty sure it was SaFiS who said that one had issues.

This one is €35 cheaper and seems like a fair bit of hardware for the money. Looks like it means business too!
Looks like it uses CR80 style aluminium plates. It has this different kind of spring instead of coils. Also has a flat roller bearing that goes behind the pressure plate like some motorcycle types.
It comes with a breather setup (little bit clunky with a long hose) and they suggest 450-500ml of oil. It's mentioned in the assembly video at the bottom of the page.

The weight listed by SIP is 1.18kg. SIP's own is 1.70Kg, so not an insignificant difference!

Too proprietary. Needs Polini primaries and only works with straight teeth. It's a pass for me…

There is that. But what's the issue with straight teeth?

And was it you that mentioned the SIP clutch problems?

No issues with straight teeth except that it's not a plug & play clutch if you're on stock primaries. The SIP clutch had some issues with the basket were the plates tabs would eat into it instead the other way around...
