My little finger wraps around the end weight, the others are on the grip.
FYI I'm 175cm slim build.

Does anyone else have their hands partially on the bar end weights?

Never done that. I just rest my loose hands on the grips, only gripping them when maneuvering. Approaching any situation, I have my fingers touching the levers.
Will have to start a separate topic about foot position.

I've caught myself with the pinkies on the bar end weights on occasion. My current bike and current Primavera both came without the weights. While out on a long ride, I noticed my pinkie dangling over the end reaching for my O-ring for throttle lock. No longer use the O-ring, but find myself still putting the pinkie out on the weight sometimes on longer rides.

I can recall riding through the Karoo semi-desert on my way to Cape Town sitting on the back of the GS150 dual seat, with a sandwich in one hand and a coke in the other. Who needs grips?
This was in 1961.

When they installed the Top case on my Vespa GTS300 Supertech they put on heavier bar end weights I removed them and put back on the factory installed ones. I didn't like the look and feel of the heavier ones does it really make a difference with the top case using heavier bar weights?

Funny thing is that my right hand tends to be partially on the bar end weights, while my left hand is always on the most right position of the grip on the handle bar. Deliberately shifting my right hand to the most left position on the grip only worked temporarily. It did not take long before I noticed after a few roundbouts and curves the right hand was again at its original position. |

When I replaced the OEM grips, I swear some of the buzzines in the bars was gone and the additional room was welcomed.
Whatever floats your boat.....
