Good morning all,

I'm putting together my GTR and I found this part in the image below. I had it stored with all of the fork parts, but I can't see it on the drawing or parts list.

Can anyone shed some light on this? it looks like it should have a tube attached. Either for fuel or grease?

I'm sure you more experience out there will be able to tell me what it is.

and by the way, if anyone can tell me where i put the fuel tap for the gtr, I would appreciate it. I've turned the garage over looking for it and can't find it anywhere

Yeah, weird.

I have no idea where it came from. I was a bit slack documenting my strip down as it took about 3 months just to remove the bearings.

well, perhaps I will put it to oneside just in case.

Looks like a carb fuel banjo to me.
Brake would have a threaded fitting…
But definitely a banjo.

Watching a vespa motorsport video and that looks a lot like carb fuel line banjo of a large frame carb.

Morning chaps,

thanks for taking time to look and post replies. I already have a fuel banjo on the carb. I'm completely flummoxed by this part and where it came from.

I've decided we are going to put that in the "can't remember where that came from box" for the moment. then I will store that somewhere, where I'm gonna forget.

anyway, thanks again. I'm just about to make a post about multiple changes I made to my px. I will need help working out why it doesn't work very well

According to Google it's a 14mm straight grooved banjo, and it mentions diesel pump?

Are you running diesel Vespas over there?
