Just replaced my old trusty Yourban with a 2022 HPE sport and was hoping the slightly (and I say slighty) bigger horse power would get better mileage.
As stated on their webpage.

Anyone got one and can confirm how many miles they get from a full tank.

My old Yourban did 125miles and this HPE is the same.

My other grip is why you cannot select current speed on the digital dash.
Yes you have an analogue gauge but would have been nice to be able to select it. got other modes like max speed and average..

Apart from that love the new model.

It really largely depends on your driving habits, what roads you take (urban/rural), weather conditions, etc, etc, etc

1. Have you calculated the average mileage over 3-4 fill-ups?

2. How big is the tank?

3. How many miles on your new scooter?

Yeah calculated.

Do the same route to work everyday.
Same driving as everyday to and from work.

Tank holds 11 liters same as the yourban.

Perhaps the MP3 is heavier than the old Yourban???

300cc is still underpowered if it uses the same frame as the 500 variant, I've tried it and was underwhelmed although I like the engine characteristics better on the 300.

EDIT: Just looked it up out of curiosity. Yourban comes at approx 210kg, the MP3 300 sits at 225-230.

That's quite a difference. Whatever powergains you got are prolly compensating for the extra heft

Has your scooter been broken in or was it purchased used?

Completely agree - if it can give max speed, why not go a little further and give digital current speed too?

Yeah MP3 is run in.
Just looked up the stats and weight and agree it is heavier and you can feel this when it gets a little windy.

In regards to the fuel consumption has anyone else got a 300 HPE ? whats your consumption like?. As when I fill up it says its good for 160 miles.
I get 120m before the light comes on but according to the gauge there is some left.
Now do I chance running it down or just fill up when the light comes on.

Or do I trust the gauge.

Not sure about the 300 HPE (expect be very similar), but on my 500 HPE, when the gas light comes on, the gauge shows 1/4 of the tank left (exactly at this point always), and if I put gas in, it gets between 9.5 and 10 liters, so it's pretty accurate (my tank is 13.2 liters).

My annoyance is that when the reserve light turn on the dashboard stops indicating how many kilometers I have left to travel, which is annoying.

Highly suggest you refuel just before the needle enters the red zone in order to keep the fuel pump cool and fully submerged at all times for maximum lifespan

I here what your saying but you know when you just need to know.

Hoping someone else might have a 300 HPE just to compare / confirm.

MPG listed for each bike would include the weight of each bike, as they are rating vehicles, not just motor efficiency.

Usually newer vehicles are more efficient, but are also subject to more restrictive emission standards. Here in the US, most brands seem to overestimate MPG, but some seem to underestimate it. Reviewers will publish actual results, but that's usually before the vehicles are broken in. Possibly the rating system is more accurate over there, but here the EPA rating is often off.

It's likely just a testing issue, though motors will vary from bike to bike as well.

Hopefully you're happy with the newer bike, even if you didn't get the efficiency gains you were expecting. Does the bike feel a bit more spirited, or does the additional horsepower & torque just mostly get offset by the weight?
