That's probably a European PX loom which is different to a US type...

I have the part number somewhere for the US market 2005 PX150. It's way different from the Euro harness. At one point the only place to get the harness was directly from Piaggio. The harness might be no longer available at this point? I do remember it was fairly expensive many years ago when i looked into buying a replacement harness for myself.

What is wrong with the original harness? Can you contact the vendor that sold you the new harness and get it exchanged/ money back?

How handy are you with a soldering iron?

Original harness is old and crusty, the connectors are cracked and broken. Also, I have a short somewhere that is causing my fuse to blow as soon as i touch the battery. I wanted to upgrade the harness to a better connection

If you want to replace the 2005 PX USA loom you are definitely limited to either fixing what you already have, or convert over to a Euro harness. No idea what all it takes to do the euro conversion, but i'd definitely swap out the 55/60 watt headlight bulb (that came in the US market scooters) down to the 35 watt bulb that the euro scooter came with (you don't want to melt wires).

I dunno how a 2005 wire harness could get so crusty along with broken connectors so quickly. Most US based scooters don't get too many miles put on them.
