I am looking to sell my GTS 250 with 11000 miles on the odometer it is starting to give me some issues. I plan on purchasing a 2013 GTS 300 with 2600 miles on the odometer in near excellent condition bronze color for $4300.00. Did the 2013 have any issues that I should be aware of. Will the Vespa crash bars I have on my 2008 fit the 2013? Thank you in advance for your input. I know i posted this already but i had GTI not GTS incase there was some confusion sorry.
Good news is there are no specific problems relating to the 2013 GTS 300 and the crash bars (according to SIP) will fit both the GTS250 and GTS300 of any year.
Thanks for the responce I decided to keep it. The kill switch is giving me problems I replaced it but bike still died on me last year one time but did restart and get me home. Smell antifreeze sometimes reclamped hose it is keeping its level. I decided why spend $4,500 on another used bike if I have to take this bike to the dealer and have it checked out would be a better idea. The body is in excellent condition have all the options on it topcase crash bars exhaust. I will keep the money in the bank and ride.
I think there is always the temptation when we fall out of love with a bike due to niggling issues to believe a new bike will be a breath of fresh air. However new bikes , both brand new and pre owned have their own issues and soak up time and cash.
As you say , if you know the solutions and you can find a better use for the $4500 then stick with what you know.
