Modern Vespa

Hi guys,

Parts supplier sent me 825620 O ring along with the Main seal timing cover 847116 and just want to find out if this 825620 O ring is required and how is it fitted?
I have 2004 Gilera 200 VXR engine #M243M***** looking at the main seal timing cover there is no slot on it so this o ring can be placed in and if its placed say to rest on the highlighted in red then that could easily move when fitting the main seal and go onto the chains.

Looking at the Piaggio diagrams, the seal is not shown for that engine?

Hope someone can give me more insight on this.

It looks like piaggio changed the original seal 828875 for you engine with 847116 and the o-ring 885620 is no longer used with the new seal.
I noticed in the photo that there are pieces of the seal on the oil pump gear.

Thank you! That makes sense, there is a lot of these small changes that when you ask parts from suppliers they either send the old part or additional part that has been discontinued on a specific engine.
