Looks like y'all had some outstanding weather on Saturday, even if it seems to have all gone to hell today.
Glad you got out and enjoyed the ride, and I'm still bummed I missed it this year. |

I had a nice chat with metadaddy. We randomly parked next to each other on Saturday morning. I kept looking at his Vespa thinking I know this scooter. His ET3 looks sweet.
I've got a few more photos from Saturday. I'll post them when I have more time. Now it's back to work for me.

Blue smoke inhaled from a distance.
I figure ea rally is about 3 -5 months lower life expectancy- and I ask myself: self, is there any better way to spend your final 3 months? Consistently the answer is no! Thanks for posting. That exit is always a show.

Without the Unicorn present everyone had to stand around and stare at a Lambretta and pretend to be impressed. Ha ha. How was your Son's wedding?

Looks like everyone brought out their big guns. There are enough TV175's at the rally to make a bog standard P series look rare.

My little Primmy did just great. Several people asked if it was modified; "No, it's stock, but lighter than your bike!"
It was so much fun to ride in the twisties - shorter wheelbase, and I could carry more speed through the corners than the bigger bikes

Thank you guys so much for all the pics! Now I'm feeling a little homesick. I'd have loved to have been there to collect on my Greek gyro bet w/ SDJohn if he won't come here, but all those bikes put my scruffy stuff to shame unless I was on my sweet minty PK125XL and we can't be two places at once

I wonder what the semi hidden golden colored scooter is in the background. It looks like a wideframe with a right hand pipe on it? Makes me wonder just what engine cases and top end are beneath its cowl.

FNG wrote: This Lambretta was seriously fast. We were going almost 60mph on Hwy 1 going into Morro Bay and it passed us like we were standing still. It looked super stable too. And there is a motor called the Sledgehammer 333 now, and I don't even want to contemplate what it'd be capable of with the right gearing. |
