GTS300 Super sport Force master 3 and a Pm Pipe.

What is the actual definition for the calibration of the High/Med/Low?

1. Low is idle, is it to 10 mph or revs?

2. Medium is this from 10-30mph or is it for cruising at a medium speed revs?

3. High is this for 30-80mph or is it high revs from start and sudden acceleration for overtaking?

4. Would I alter these with a pillion, so the air/fuel mix is high?

1-3. From the manual for my forcemaster for my HPE
• low: 0 – 2,000 RPM
• mid: 2,000 – 6,000 RPM
• high: 6,000 – max RPM

4. Pillion has nothing to do with this.

Also ...

What map do you have selected?

How do you plan on evaluating your adjustments of mid, low, high?

What modifications do you have?

I have it on map 1 with a PM85 pipe and a 13" front wheel.

The pillion was for better torque, as in high fuel/air ratio when carrying.

Hi, is there the possibility to calibrate the FM3? I guess the TPS need to be calibrate the first time? Does anyone have an information about it?

Further Versions of the Forcemaster had the possibility of calibration. Can you explain why this is not needed?

Because the FM3 is not connected to the TPS.

The ECU monitors the TPS and presents the calibrated value on the canbus. The FM3 gets that value from the canbus.

Great answer! I found quite less for the adjustment of the fM3.

The only way to find the Optimum is to check the colour of the plug, right?

The LEDs does say nothing of the amount of gas the engine need or if it gets too much.

Do you have any hint how to find the best adjustment?

I'm assuming you don't have access to a dyno

aahhhh ... I'm no expert on this.

checking the plug or the exhaust will give a hint if too lean. BUT this is really only true IF you hold it at a target rpm for a while and then cut the engine (eg kill switch) - don't slow down with the engine still running as then the lower rpm will make the test less accurate (probably a really quick slow down and stop wouldn't be too bad?). I'd guess you'd have to clean the plug/exhaust between each test.

Better is to use a wideband o2 sensor that has recording ability so you can compare it to the rpm after riding at different rpm.
