Finally coming towards a finished product. Bought this bike a few years ago and have been working on it in-between projects. 1954 Sears Allstate 104. I finished up a glovebox cowl repair that had rot and was on the road yesterday. A full mechanical restoration with saved patina. To be transparent, there is a ton of work here that is skipped in the photos. For example- someone welded the springs on the seat to the seat stays on the chassis. That all had to be cut out and new seat stays welded on. Extensive, but that is what is generally needed with this older machines.

Original 1-port engine bored to 2nd over. Vape static ignition, high compression head.

Pics of how I got it, cowl repair, to Lovers Lane-

It's an absolute miracle that the cooling shrouds didn't disappear!

Wrong. This bike had a few farm paint jobs. There is the standard seafoam green in places- it was not painted over anything but the OG primer.
