I believe this is ongoing issues from the seal failure. Is this salvageable? Is this now a reed opportunity?

Rotary pad and crank both scored. Quite deep.

Just put it back together and move on??

it has been dremeled in the past ! Not nice looking for sure !
As you already took the crank out, I would replace it and go with a reed intake

Looks repairable to me. The service manual covers the procedure, or search the forum.

Looks original to me.

Fully repairable. Crank should clean up too.

The reason this happened is overheating. Something wrong with timing or jetting. Need to fix that too.

You right, my bad.
I thought the angled cut was done later, not used to P cases.

I agree with the overheating. When I got the scooter it was all there except the cylinder shroud. Could be the reason the seal blew out in the first place. That melted and the carbonized plastic from the seal had a huge fob right on the edge of the pad.

How to fix? If fix at all? The grooves are very shallow. There are no real gouges. Epoxy may not have enough surface to adhere to and then if it comes off??? And the crank grooves are also very shallow.

I have a used crank if needed. I am stopped just not sure how to proceed.
