Hello....
I was attempting to do a full brake
fluid flush , with the help of a HF (not the greatest thing) bleeding pump.
The rear screw that need to be loosened to help the bleeding , stripped
just trying putting the 10mm wrench on it....it felt like was made of some very cheap soft metal and I hand up with a rounded head immediately, luckily I was able to extract the damaged bleeding screw with the help of a wise grip plier without braking apart inside the Caliper.
According to Scooterwest website and after I speak directly with someone in the parts department....they told me that unfortunately they're no spare part available for just that bleeding screw, the only way was to buy a complete new caliper.....etc.etc.
So..... not wanted to buy a complete new brake Caliper (quoted) around $153+ shipping , just for that one cheap bleeding screw.
I set myself on a quest to find a suitable replacement , I did find something equivalent at a O'Reilly Auto Parts store but was not completely sure on the length & tapering, after few members here on the MV mentioned some discrepancy from the original part.
Took those advice and today, went to a different store, and landed on Advance Auto Parts and find this bleeding screw M10-1.0 35mm , set of 2 for $7.99.
Beside be a little longer in the length from the original, but clearance above the Caliper being planty , I was confident that it will not create a issue.
Everything matched perfectly, and seem to be working just fine.
And finally I was able to bleed the rear break successfully without the extra cost of buying a new Caliper.
Let me know if you guys have the same issue experience or you think that it's the wrong kind.
Here few pictures of the new ones 📸 .
Hopefully my experience help someone with the same issue.

I think because one has a longer thread But the pitch on the taper is exactly the same.
Been fitted back without no issues on my Vespa.
But thank for the input. I will keep my eyes open for any leak.

I also change my brake fluid and I noticed the bleeder valve is little soft ,make sure to use a line wrench.
