I've got a fuzzy memory of discussion of expected clutch wear on the GTS clutch. I'd thought there was a recommendation on replacement on a schedule (at around 20K miles) but now I can't find it. I know parts can wear differently depending on use, but I'm thinking averages.
Probably should just wait for something to start acting up, but as I recently passed 20K, it's on my mind.
So, curious, for all you high mileage GTS owners out there, what has been your experience? I expect most people just replace their clutch as rebuilding sounds pretty fiddly, but I seem to be interested in new adventures.....

K's GTS300 needed a new clutch at ~30,000 miles. Mine is still original at 45,000, with only one service at the 40,000 mile mark. It still looks good - the shoes aren't even half worn.

if the pads are thick then leave it alone.
I'm at 72,000km and have worn out two clutches and a few drive and driven pulleys - don't forget to check them with a straight edge (described in workshop manual).
