Here are my Kerry Blue Terriers after a particularly mischievous day looking pretty pleased with themselves (I had some filling in a bag in my sewing studio)! They have both passed (the latest somewhat recently) and I can't wait to terrier my life back up.

None of these are my dogs, so I lol'd.
(Had any of them been my dog it probably would not have been nearly as funny).

That's hilarious!
Day before yesterday my wife sent me this pic. Apparently, the neighbor's cat, who is an indoor / outdoor variety, had attacked two bunnies, one of which had been separated from its head. This one was just a little traumatized. Isabelle was simply "interested". Bunny stayed in the house for a bit and then was set back in the yard to (hopefully) find mama bunny.
Bunny.

Here she is after critters, her favorite activity. That dog could find some armadillos and she is in the hollowed out tree trunk after one. Still miss her 8 months after her passing. The other two are of our current. While cute, they are terriers and also love hunting/chasing critters albeit not successfully. They are now about 5 months old.

Thursday night I took Isabelle in to emergency. She was having difficulty breathing. They took her in and I got home about 1:00am Friday.
After work on Friday my wife and I went to visit and we made the difficult decision that she wasn't going to get any better. So I held her on my lap until she went to sleep for the last time. The nurse cried with us. Saturday morning we made a place for her in the back yard and my wife did a wonderful job of making it look nice. I didn't want a dog. A mysterious set of circumstances brought Isabelle to us and for fifteen years she was a bright spot in every single day of my life. She often got the last kiss at night and the first kiss in the morning. I won't get another dog; I have zero desire to do so because I'm not a "dog person". I was an "Isabelle person". And as suddenly as she came into our lives ... she's gone.
