Any one uses a camera while riding around. I'm looking at the insta360 camera and looking for a place to mount it on the Vespa.

what sorta footage do you want? dashcam usage? vlogging? yourself in the frame? the environment you're riding through?
and which insta360 (it's a brand not a camera)? their omnidirectional X4 or their AcePro? or? |

When I was using a camera (I don't bother now) I had it mounted on the side of my helmet, so it gave the rider's view, with the handlebars just in frame at the bottom.

Typically then either a long stick off the rear of the bike or a classic mirror mount. For the long stick it could be attached to the rack and/or grab rail ideally with two claws / ubolts

Something simple like in link below, just put it on rear handrail, obviously you will need the stick with the U bolt.

When you mount your camera, please make sure you use two different mounting points (in other words, to prevent the stick from rotating you'll need two clamps, but if you use both clamps on the same mounting point, your set up will not be stable). This is important if you plan on using a selfie stick because any bumps may (and will) cause the entire unit to move/rotate, creating a hazard to the camera and to you (when you're being distracted by the set up as it starts to move). I learned the hard way--luckily my camera (Insta360 X4) didn't actually start dragging onto the ground, but if I didn't pull over, it was just a matter of time before it did. If you have crash bars on your Vespa (like I do), it will help with mounting points, otherwise the mirror stalk or the rear grab bar would be your only decent options. If you don't plan on using your selfie stick, then the two mounting points aren't as important, but if you do, please remember that the two clamps holding the stick are on different points.
