MP3 front steering suspension will not lock

I just purchased a 2024 MP3 530 HPE motorcycle. I cannot get the front suspension to lock when I move the switch to the left, which is supposed to activate the steering lock. I have read the manual over and over and it appears that I'm doing the function correctly. The light on the dash, instrument cluster blanks to indicate that the steering is not locked, and then stays on when I activate the steering lock, however, the front suspension is not locked. This unit is under warranty, but it's a 2 Hour Dr. away. Does anybody have any suggestions how I would reset the steering lock mechanism. Thank you Tracey from Alberta Canada.

The steering lock and the front suspension/tilt lock are two completely separate functions.
