Hi hope you are well I am new and just joined this platform. Recently bumped my Vespa into a metal frame 👀. I am taking it to Vespa soon to get a quote just wanted to know your opinion will this cost me a lot and is it fixable? Many thanks

I think it's fixable, but it would be costly. The glovebox is easy enough to remove, but there is a bunch of cooling system components stuffed in there and all that would need to be removed/inspected/replaced as needed.

Take it to your insurer, have it inspected and get an estimate for the repair.

Then you can make a more educated decision.

I don't know how much mechanics get paid in SA, but the minimum wage is well below $2/hour. I suspect (if it's insured) the cost of a new frame plus swapping the rest of the parts would be much cheaper than writing it off.
