Has anyone heard from the old boy? I don't believe he's posted for many weeks now, I hope he's ok.

I believe that he put the AK550 up for sale through a shop but as far as I know he was planning to keep the GTS.

He's had some medical issues which have caused him to sell both his scooters. Wish him well!

I have his GTS here in Denver now.

I've been wondering the same thing for a few weeks now... but I was afraid to ask after the last posts in January were followed by two sales ads in February and March and then nothing at all...

As a Minnesota native, I loved seeing Bob's photos and reading his witty banter. Reminds me of people back home.

Rats. Hope he's ok, such a nice guy. I learned so much from him. I thought he would never sell that Red GTS.

Does anyone remember if he ever participated in the holiday gift exchange? If so I'll have his address on file at home.

The latest I've heard, one of our Minn-Max guys called and talked to his wife. They've moved out of their house and into a smaller place. Bob has completely retired from his insurance job. Other than that, nobody has learned much. I'm afraid Bob's scootering days are over. Best wishes to him.

When I last heard from Bob in March, he related having pulmonary fibrosis and needing oxygen, and pretty much housebound. Seems like it was a pretty rapid decline. I hope he doesn't mind the share.

Breathing issues suck. My mother got asthma from her fiber drug and though oxygen wasn't recommended, it was hard to see her breathing. Hope he's at least comfortable with the oxygen.

Pulmonary fibrosis is a tough diagnosis...I learned so much from Bob's scooter reviews over the years.
