I have just got myself a vbb 1972 just put a new loom in and lights are everywhere has anyone had this problem before brake like and front light gos out when pressing brake I have changed everuthink apart from handle bar light swich

Nice looking scoot. It does look like a VBB to me. You can check the VIN on this list : https://www.scooterhelp.com/serial/ves.serial.numbers.html and look at the wiring diagram for your model here : https://www.scooterhelp.com/electrics/electrics.html
I am not sure what you mean by " the lights are everywhere". Do you mean all the lights work but the headlight goes out when the pedal is pressed ? On the VBB, the brake light and the headlight are run off either end of the same coil. When the pedal is up, the brake side ( blue) is grounded to the frame/motor and power goes to the headlight circuit( yellow). When the pedal is pressed and that circuit is broken, the ground is through the brake bulb so you might check that. |
