Modern Vespa

Hi there,

I hit a massive pothole about a year ago on the right side and since then I've been getting wobble and some terrible uneven tyre wear.

I think I may have bent the leg on it. I've been looking for a replacement.

So my question, would the front end from a 250, 300, or 500 fit the bike. I can find the parts but not specifically for the 400. Any advice from others who have had the same problem would be greatly appreciated.

Piaggio quoted me a grand for the repair, but it doesn't look mad difficult to do.

Is there anything else i should know. I don't have the alignment frame and can't get access to one.

be aware that there are 2 kind of frontlegs for the Mp3 in Europe
1 for Motorcycle a RL and 1 for a trike LT
A secondhand leg i would not use because the could be bent also its difficult to see when they are not on a bike

1000 pond is a normal price a new front leg is about 500 its bare so everything must be fitted to the new leg, shock, wheelhubs, brakelines, bearings and so on

a front bearing job is 500 with alignment

ehh just looked a new front leg for a 400 is advised sale price 910 euro about 750 pond
