is this clicking happening when then the starter button is pressed or not pressed or both?

have you tried the using the other brake lever when starting?

wiggle the kill switch on/off an couple of dozen times as the contacts in it can become dodgy.

have you used a multimeter on the fuses?

there is also a tilt sensor ... but I'm doubting that

Remembering that though the positive side of the starter relay is fed via the usual fuses, starter button and brake light switches, the negative side is fed from the ECU. So any poor grounding of the ECU or 'other things' upsetting it could cause the relay to chatter - so double check all the grounding, from the negative of the battery to frame, frame to engine, ECU connector, etc.
