New tools! So many fiddly broken wires and connections in the Stella, I just had to have new tools. Had to. Really.

Ha!
I thought the best part of a project was getting blotto on vino after fapping unsuccessfully with electrical gremlins all weekend. ... no, wait... that may be the worst part.

I would say first engine start. Never gets old.
But the best part is when get that rebuilt engine to the point where you trust it and feel like you could ride it anywhere.

My favorite part of the project is right after i get the second coat of primer on. Once the primer is on, the scooter now finally is looking fairly complete. |

My rebuilding days are long behind me. But like so many here having the pleasure of a first time start and perhaps holding an idle is a rare pleasure. I might also say that I find a real shot of endorphins the first time I lay eyes on the scoot I end up buying. It normally takes a while but sooner or later a guy takes you into his backyard or his garage and there it is. I really like that moment.

Best part - taking delivery of all the parts needed to do the job properly
Worst Part - finding the mistakes the person picking it made or finding "no stock" against an item that was necessary |

Absolutely my favorite part is before I start I search for parts . When I'm dreaming up about a build I just start figuring out what I am going to do to the bike . That is my favorite thing I have a bunch of stuff being gathered for my Honda ADV150 and my BV400. But the builds don't start until the cold gets here . |
