Modern Vespa

Anyone have any options for an unavailable coolant hose for a BV 350? P/n 673127 or 674873 (both numbers listed for part in manual)

I'm thinking I could find hose of similar ID but not preformed.

I don't see much difference between the BV350 and the newer BV400. Would the hoses be the same, or close enough?

It's just a thought. I'm going from memory. I don't have my 350 anymore and the 400 is still stored away.

if they are they changed the part number but not sure why they would do that if the hoses are the same between the 350 and 400??

AF1 shows it fitting both bikes. You can tryll heater core hose with the same I'd. You might have trouble fitting the bike back together. What's going on with your original?

hose is leaking at thermostat. I may be able to have enough slack in hose to trim the end off and keep the existing hose.

If the hose is not cut try to replace the hose clamp first

Ya, like said above remove the factory clamp and clean both the housing and hose. Put back together with a smear of silicone grease and a good quality clamp. If that doesn't fix it, I'd go for a butt connector with a short piece of new hose before I would replace the whole thing.

That is the loosest fitting coolant system connection on the BV350. XRISTOS and Abner_Bjorn are correct.
