Looked a bit whats available on new Vespas in Europe.
On fast check seems that "all" other is 5+ but 50 cc ones them only euro5.
So, can we buy those mopeds at all now?

Correct! All 50cc bikes are still Euro 5. In Germany (and the rest of Europe?) mopeds up to 50cc do not have to be registered, but do have insurance. As 50cc mopeds are therefore registration-free, they do not need the Euro 5+ standard that would be required for registration.

Got some info of situation in Finland.
Here mopeds yes are registered, and you need a license to drive -but are getting some lowered criterion of execution, so 5 is going on. In Finland the electric mopeds percentge is getting bigger so polluting mopeds are looked to be diminishing species anyway. Dunno the larger situation elsewhere in Europe.

If the anti-Tesla attitude didn't exist, sales would have gone up though...

That "thinking" is thing of perspective, is Ukraine European country, in the statistic?
These gimmicks going zizzagging a towns, they do not need to be even electric mopeds, here they mainly are electric "scooters", those kickboards. More usable and cheap. Here youngsters drive them even inside groceries Hard to do with petrol Vespa ;-D
