I have a problem with my Beverly 350ST (2014), 33,000 km (20,000 miles) on the clock. I try to service it regularly, but about 200 km after changing the spark plug, the engine started to hesitate at full throttle, and within a few days, I reached a point where, after starting, it shuts off within about 15 seconds and the idle is unstable. And I cant ride anywhere bcs with throtthle it immediately shuts off.

I had a similiar problem about 3 years ago, when the mixture was too rich and the bike would also shut off-the solution was replacing the ECU, and everything was fine until now.

Currently, there are no error codes (the check engine light is off), I tried putting the old spark plug back in, and finally I ordered diagnostics and found a guide here on the forum on how to connect to it, in case something shows up (it just seems to be a mixture issue).

The fuel pump can be heard when turning the key. Could it be a clogged fuel filter? Or has anyone had a similar experience? Thanks for any advice.

New spark plug and no difference with the old one, electronic ignition system is very reliable, so I don't think anything wrong with spark.

You hear the fuel pump, so that is working.
But it sounds like you have a fuel problem.
The problem first started at full throttle, so I expect not enough fuel.
Could be a clogged fuel filter.
Maybe good to start there.

I found a broken cap so In a few days I will have a new one and hopefully I will be so lucky and everything will be solved 😀
It was aftermarket according to PN (LB05EZ) and also it wasnt tightened well.
Thank you and I'll let you know

Were you able to find a spark plug cap? I could not find one and they seem to be replaced by LB05EA. This replacement is a different dimension and the HT is too short for the new cap.

Also, it does not appear that the wire can be disconnected from the plug that goes into the HT connection. So was unable to lengthen wire.

Not this one. It may be crimped. Unscrews on the cap end but the other end doesn't budge

You will be able to find it here (thats a shop with original spare parts but in Europe). There is a cap and cord.

So maybe just use PN of the original one and try to find some aftermarket part. Or just try to fit some ignition coil from other scooter or dirt bike.

The issue is the original wire/plug combo is too short. So buying the original will leave the same issue.

I had the same issues, but my problem was a plugged up fuel filter.

My first thoughts were that I need to change the fuel filter but thats a lot of work and price for the filter is also crazy (+$100 here). I was lucky this time and it was just a cap for $5.

How many hours did you need for changing the filter?
