I recently purchased the MALOSSI OVER-DRIVE KIT 22/45 and had the guys at scooterwest in San Diego press the new gears on for me. I then easily installed the upgraded parts into my 2020 GTS 300 HPE. I was expecting to increase the top speed which was currently at 79 mph before the rotation limiter kicked in. However, after installing the new gears the rotation limiter now activates at 77 mph. In order to make this work do I need to get the upgraded tone wheel or something else?
