How much is road tax for a 2022 gps 300,
About to purchase one and struggling to find how much it is.

UK vehicle tax for bikes over 150cc but below 401cc is £57.00 for 12 months.

Slightly more if you pay in instalments.

I'll add - if you only ride seasonally (or only for a few weeks at a time, like me) it's worth paying monthly by Direct Debit, as you can cancel the DD without the phaff of waiting for the DVLA to get around to reimbursing you. Before the DVLA introduced DD payments it was only possible to do six-monthly payments.

I've only recently got a scooter to ride in Northern Ireland, a BV350. I was stunned to discover it cost £57. My wife's car cost £20. It's a car!

I live part-time in Spain and have a BV400 there, it costs about €9 per year!

Ironically, I found insurance quite cheap in NI. But in Spain it's really expensive now.

It is different in every country.

Here in Belgium a motorcycle below 251cc does not pay road tax, from 251cc onwards it is a fixed tax of 70€ per year, no matter what bike it is.

I find insurance here reasonable. 300€ per year. That is liability for damage done to others and for legal advice and assistance. All risk will be higher, no idea how high.
