Anybody try this one yet?

I have serious doubts it would fit above the inner cable nipple. Would love to know more… but don't wanna be the guinea pig.

That's pretty cool! I'd like to know this too. Didn't know such a tool existed.

I have a bunch of 7 & 8 mm wrenches, and a set even in my riding jacket permanently.

Yes, would not allow the "tape in neutral and tighten" technique but looks good for SFs and clutch.

I use two ignition wrenches. Hold the cable and the 8 mm in one hand and tighten with the other. No issues. People love tools though so I'm sure they'll sell some

I don't have issues on the large frames using 2 wrenches… but futzing with a smalie is a right PITA.

Looks useful, especially for smallies as you say BN.

I wish they would put as much effort into nipples that don't wreck cables when they're tightened.

I have the same problem with cutting cables . I blame the cables as much as the nipples.

The nipples with the bore that bottoms out at the cable and has the little disc under the screw are the best. Some are basically designed to cut the cable.

They're the only ones I use, and they still kink the cables. None of my cables ever die of old age!

I didn't know they made nipples that didn't have the brass insert.

I recommend something like this for cutting cables. They make a smooth unfrayed cut. Ot alternatively solder the cable before you attack it with a cutting Implement

That's nifty. I also appreciate how clean the bikes / hands are in the images.

Mine never look like that.
